 Stop and Return 2  UAL photography Level Two Richmond South West London Brief - To Stop and Return to a Public Space or Place. Stop and Return 2 - The Return. Week 2. Richmond in South West London is place and spa ce of incredible beauty and a constant gentle buzz. Richmond packs a small but mighty punch. From its historical buildings, parks and the river Thames to the cobbled Olde Worlde side streets, boutique hotels, galleries, fine dining and shopping. Richmond is a safe, friendly, affluent pseudo-village. An enclave of the predominantly white, very wealthy middle-classes. It is an area of picturesque privilege personified. It is expensive vanilla ice-cream. I wanted to see if I could capture something 'more than the vanilla', perhaps the comic, the strange, the unusual, ironic, artistic or even abstract.     UAL  Photography Level 2.                    Stop and Return - Public Spaces and Places.   Brief - To select a public place or space and take photos at different times of the day for a  week.    Week 1 - This project is based on 'LAST STOP' the work of London-based street photographer Georges Georgiou. Who, over the course of a year, 2014/15, took exactly the same bus route in London and photographed what he saw from either the bottom or top deck of the bus, depending on the perspective he wanted to explore that day.  ' Last Stop, was photographed across the city of London through the windows of its double decker buses.  Although London has always been a dynamic city with a changing demographic, I was surprised by the speed of change in the last decade.
